On the Roll Again

About two weeks ago Aislinn started rolling over. The first time she was on my bed for some tummy time while I put clothes away. I looked back at her and she was about halfway over, kind of like when you're on the zipper and you're halfway over and unsure if you'll make the flip that time or not and all you can do is tighten up all your muscles and wait to see..... well that was her, halfway over and I waited suspensefully while she let gravity do the rest. I immediately burst into excited babbling of praise and high-pitched giggles and grins. She most likely had no idea what had just happened and was clueless as to what I was going on about. A couple of days later she was laying on the floor while I was making dinner. I looked over and quick as a blink she rolled to her back. I wish I could catch it on camera. Ever since she's been trying to sit herself up everytime I set her down and now I can't sit her on the couch for fear she'll sit up, fall over, and then roll off the couch. She even rolled from her back to her stomach while I was trying to dress her on the couch Saturday night. She hates tummy time or being set down, she really feels that she must see everything everywhere all of the time and that's when she's happiest... but she's doing her best to get herself up and mobile so that she'll never have to sit and wonder what Mommy or anyone else is doing again.
