The Month of February sure has flown by. Next thing you know it'll be spring! We barely had any winter this year. Not much snow and it wasn't very cold compared with typical Utah winters. It's going to make for a very dry summer I'm thinking.
For Valentine's day the kids made a bunch of really cute Valentines for each other and for Mommy and Daddy. Big frilly, lacey things that I hung up on our fridge. I made a Valentine's dinner complete with homemade Chicken Cordon Bleu, fettucine alfredo, rolls, cheesecake, homemade sparkling grape juice, and I'm sure there was some sort of vegetable in there but I've forgotten. The memory is one of the first to go you know.....
Aislinn's saying "Nana", "Dada", and occasionally "Mumum". She loves to be seeing and doing. She's going to be a very quick and active learner I think. She's boerd with her old toys and Baby Einstein shows so I bought her some new ones to keep her entertained while I'm doing housework and whatever else needs doing. She's generally a happy child as long as she's got someone paying attention to her. She'll flash the biggest toothless baby grin you ever saw when someone pays her attention.
Celeste is in Girl Scouts now. She's a daisy and gets to go with some of her friends to meetings twice a month. Unfortunately for the poor kids, I was defaulted to being their troop leader since no one else stepped up to the plate first to form it and there was a deadline to be met if we wanted to have a troop in time to sell cookies. I'm enjoying it for the most part though. I never really did Girl Scouts much when I was younger myself, so I get to do it with my girls!
